Frank’s experience in Sports Physiotherapy has seen him work with a large spectrum of athletes representing AFL, Rowing Australia, Athletics Australia, A-League Soccer and Swimming Australia. Erin began fitness instructing over 6 years ago, after retiring from professional dancing. Her main focus has been in Pilates training, working with clients of all abilities.
Erin’s interest in Pilates stems from the positive effects it had on injury prevention during her career as a professional ballerina. She believes that many of the aches and pains clients consider to be normal can be positively impacted by correct use of core muscles and increased body awareness.
The key ethos of Erin’s class is every client is a unique person every session. Her classes are aimed at a range of levels, with a strong focus on pushing yourself only as far as you can safely with use of the correct muscles. Thereby strengthening the body and mind, without causing injury. Her favourite saying is “ We’re not training for the Pilates Olympics”, training should be about enjoying time in the studio while working within the healthy limits of your body.
Outside of the studio Erin can be found studying, running along the river, or whenever she can, getting out of Melbourne for a surf.
