Doctor of Physiotherapy (The University of Melbourne)
Olivia graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree. Prior to this, Olivia completed a Bachelor of Health Science at La Trobe University. It is through these degrees that Olivia has gained an interest in human anatomy, biomechanics and kinematics.
Olivia’s main focus is to provide people with the belief that they can always improve their health. She does this by working closely with patients to formulate a tailored plan that addresses their needs and achieves their goals. In doing so, patients are given the tools to take control of their own health in a safe and supportive environment. Olivia enjoys treating a wide variety of patients utilising a combination of treatment modalities, including soft tissue work, exercise, and education. Olivia has also undergone training in APPI Matwork Pilates.
Having worked with the Point Cook Football Club and North Melbourne’s New Generation Academy, Olivia played an important role in injury management, prevention and return to sport. Through her time here she has been privy to various musculoskeletal injuries. She will continue to work with the Point Cook Football Club as the head physiotherapist.
In her free time, she also enjoys playing netball, practicing yoga and playing board games.
