In your initial booking, our Exercise Physiologist will conduct a thorough assessment and examination in order to determine what the make-up of a safe exercise program would be. We believe there is always some form of training that every individual can do. Medical conditions and injuries will be factored into this. Our Exercise Physiologist accepts Care Plans under the Enhanced Primary Care scheme as well as NDIS patients.
Exercise Physiologists are equipped with added tools to train people with a broad range of health issues including chronic disease, injuries and disabilities. Examples here include:
- Musculoskeletal disease (arthritis, osteoporosis, & osteopenia)
- Musculoskeletal injury (acute & chronic muscular injuries including pre & post-surgery rehab)
- Cardiovascular disease (cardiac rehabilitation)
- Metabolic disease (diabetes management)
- Neurological disease (MS, stroke, parkinson's, & cerebral palsy)
- Chronic pain (fibromyalgia)
- Cancer (all categories including breast & prostate cancer)
