What are the three best things about being a part of Evado Studios? ~ First and foremost, being part of a supportive and motivated team is incredibly rewarding. Everyone here is genuinely invested in helping each and every client achieve their goals. There’s a strong sense of camaraderie and shared purpose, and that makes the workplace both inspiring and enjoyable. I know that when I walk into the clinic, I’m surrounded by people who truly care about the outcomes of our clients and about each other.
Secondly, the structured treatment and physiotherapy framework at Evado is something I really value. Having a clear and consistent approach not only ensures high-quality care for our clients but also gives me confidence as a clinician. It means we can track progress, set meaningful goals, and work collaboratively with clients in a way that is both evidence-based and tailored to the individual. This structured approach allows us to be both thorough and flexible, which I believe is the key to great outcomes.
Finally, I really appreciate being part of a workplace culture that places such a strong emphasis on growth, collaboration, and ongoing development. From professional education opportunities to leadership pathways, Evado has provided an environment where I’ve been able to continuously challenge myself and expand my skills. Beyond professional growth, there’s also a culture of collaboration—where ideas are shared, feedback is valued, and everyone is encouraged to contribute. It makes me feel like I’m part of something bigger, where both staff and clients are supported to reach their full potential.
How has Evado Studios assisted your personal and professional development? ~ I began my career at Evado Studios as a new graduate, and over time I’ve grown both personally and professionally. Personally, I’ve developed stronger communication and articulation skills, learned how to adapt to different personalities, and pushed myself beyond my comfort zone.
Professionally, I’ve been fortunate to receive ongoing support and opportunities to expand my skills. Initially, my focus was on becoming the best clinician I could be, but as I progressed, I was encouraged to take on leadership roles that broadened my expertise. I’ve had the chance to grow from Clinical Supervisor, to Clinical Coordinator, to Clinical Manager, and eventually to Practice Principal at our Newport clinic.
I also have a great deal of pride in knowing that I’ve been able to help facilitate the growth of a clinic from the ground up—something I never imagined I would have the opportunity to do so early in my career. Establishing a new site has been both rewarding and humbling; it has required me to step well outside my comfort zone, develop skills in business operations, and learn how to balance the big-picture vision with the day-to-day realities. It has been a steep learning curve that has kept me constantly on my toes, pushing me to problem-solve quickly, adapt to challenges, and place greater trust in the abilities of my team.
Looking back, this experience has shaped me into a more resilient, versatile, and forward-thinking leader. More than just professional growth, it has given me a sense of ownership and confidence in what I can achieve with the right support network around me.
What are the most rewarding aspects of your job? ~ The most rewarding part of my role is seeing the positive impact we have on people’s lives—helping clients overcome challenges, regain confidence, and achieve their goals. I also find it incredibly fulfilling to support and mentor my team, watching them develop in their careers and knowing that together we are building something meaningful for our community.
And I know this might sound cliché, but it truly is a privilege to be able to come to work every day and make a difference in people’s health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
